Obama Signed new sanctions on North Korea

WASHINGTON - President of the United States (US), Barack Obama signed new sanctions on North Korea (Korea). The new sanctions imposed to punish the communist state after conducting nuclear tests and rocket launches.
"The US government is deeply concerned with the actions of North Korea and their latest provocative actions," said White House spokesman Josh Earnest before Obama signed the sanctions that have been ratified by the US Congress quoted by the Daily Star, Friday (19/02/2016).
Earnest said the White House hopes such sanctions would serve to increase the pressure on North Korea. "It is the stated goal of the Congress and the objectives that we want to," said Earnest.
The US imposed a tightening in the latest sanctions imposed on North Korea. The sanctions were imposed on anyone who imports goods or technology related to weapons of mass destruction to North Korea. Or anyone who intentionally engage in human rights abuses.
Sanctions are also given in the economic field with a view to decide money laundering and drug trafficking. Two illegal activity was believed to be the main source of which funnel millions of dollars into the inner circle of the President of North Korea, Kim Jong-un.
